Reports have surfaced that Prince George has accompanied the Middletons on their annual trip for Carole’s birthday. Papa Prince William stayed behind as he continues his course at Cambridge.

Prince William traveled by train today from London to Cambridge to begin his bespoke course at St. John’s College at Cambridge University. His 10 week course is designed to him prepare in his future role as Prince of Wales in charge of the 763 million pound, 130,000 acre Duchy of Cornwall estate. While he has been given on campus housing, he is expected to take the 45 minute train ride daily from Kensington Palace.
His decision to attend Cambridge has not been without criticism; students have claimed that the Prince’s A-Level results of A, B, and C did not make him qualified to attend the prestigious university. The Prince went on to achieve a 2:1 in geography at St. Andrews in 2005.
As expected, the university has denied giving Prince William any special treatment and have insisted that his course is one of many designed by the sustainability leadership program for senior company executives and others willing to pay.

The Middleton sisters were spotted at a friend’s laid-back New Year’s celebration Monday afternoon in Berkshire according to PEOPLE.
“ ‘Kate looked incredible,” a fellow reveler told PEOPLE. “She was very jolly and very happy.’
The eyewitness says the new mom, 31, who gave birth to son George in July, ‘has really got her figure back. If anything she actually looks better now than before she had Prince George.’
While George and his dad, Prince William, weren’t spotted at the party, Kate clearly enjoyed herself.
‘The thing that really strikes you is that she is just so normal and smiley,’ the partygoer said. ‘There are no lights on Kate here, so she can be totally relaxed and herself.’
‘I came away from the party thinking, ‘She looks really happy.’ Kate really is glowing and full of life.‘ ”

Word on the street is that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s dog, Lupo, was not invited to be a part of the holiday festivities in Sandringham this year. According to Cindy Stockman of Royal Central blog, it appears that the Queen, concerned about the playful nature of the the cocker spaniel versus the territorial and slightly unpredictable temperament of her corgis, decided it was best if Lupo went to spend Christmas with the Middletons in Berkshire.
The Queen’s corgis have a history of run-ins with other family pets, including Princess Beatrice’s Norfolk terrier, Max, and Princess Anne’s bullterrier, Dotty. Dotty unfortunately injured the Queen’s dog, Pharos, so badly that he had to be put down the next day.
Stockman went on to write, “perhaps Lupo will be allowed to join in the holiday merriment someday. Hoey (author Brian Hoey) writes; ‘As Duke of Cambridge, William recently said, perhaps only half-jokingly, that one of the changes he will make when he eventually succeeds to the throne is to get rid of the corgis. ‘They bark all the time,’ he said, but not within hearing distance of his grandmother. Of course, he would never do or say anything to upset her during her lifetime, but there may have been more than a little truth in what he said.'”

Ever wonder what the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge call each other in private? Apparently so did the News of the World, the disgraced former British tabloid, currently in the midst of a major lawsuit in which it is accused of hacking the phones of several prominent leaders and personalities, including Kate Middleton and Prince Harry.
On Dec. 19, Middleton’s private messages from Prince William, her then-boyfriend, in 2006 were played in the court room.
“Babykins, just tried ringing you, hope you’re alright,” William said in one message.
This is the first time it’s been confirmed that Middleton’s phone was hacked by News of the World. Another message reveals he nearly got shot during his officer training at Sandhurst in 2006.
“Hi baby. Um, sorry, I’ve just got back off my night navigation exercise,” he said in a new message. “I’ve been running around the woods of Aldershot chasing shadows and getting horribly lost, and I walked into some other regiment’s ambush, which was slightly embarrassing because I nearly got shot. Not by live rounds, but by blank rounds, which would have been very embarrassing, though.”
Another message was played from the voicemail of Prince Harry, left by an unnamed male using a high-pitched voice to impersonate Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
“You are the best looking ginger I have ever seen!” the voice, thought to be Prince William, said. “It’s lovely out here in Africa and hopefully I’ll see you very soon you big hairy fat ginger.”
