The BRF was out in full force this afternoon at Westminster Abbey to attend the Commonwealth Day Observance service. The Duchess of Cambridge was all smiles in front of the cameras with Prince Charles (see Daily Mail for photos).
For all those thinking that the Duchess of Cambridge wearing pink is a sign that Prince George can expect a little sister next month, remember that she wore the very same outfit at the Trooping the Colour ceremony back on June 15, 2013 – just about a month before the birth of Prince George.
According to the Times of Malta, Queen Elizabeth along with Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and the Duchess of Cornwall will head to Malta in November for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). CHOGM will be held November 27-29. This will surely be a special visit for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip as this is the country that they called home early on in their marriage from 1949-1951.
Just a reminder that the Duchess of Cambridge has a busy week ahead, likely her last set of engagements prior to resting before the birth of her second child:
Monday, 3/9: Observance for Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey
Wednesday, 3/11: Visit to Turner Contemporary Art Gallery in Margate
Thursday, 3/12: Downton Abbey set visit
Friday, 3/13: Service of Commemoration at St. Paul’s Cathedral honoring those who served in Afghanistan
Perhaps the Duchess of Cambridge will make her final engagement for St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday, 3/17.
