For the first time, Prince William represented the Queen in London Tuesday at a state visit with South Korea’s president, Park Geun-hye. He joined the South Korean president in breaking ground on a new Korean War Memorial at riverside gardens near Westminster Bridge.
This marks the beginning of a busy week for Prince William- tomorrow he will visit one of his charities, the St. Giles Trust, a prison-based project that helps former inmates reintegrate into society, USA Today reports. While on Thursday, the Cambridges are expected to host a meet-and-greet with volunteers for the London Poppy Day Appeal at Kensington Palace. USA Today also reports that later on Thursday, Prince William will observe two live surgeries, a post-cancer breast reconstruction and the removal of a bladder tumor.
